Changed the Blog layout. Front page is now static, and all the Blog posts are displayed in ‘Blog Posts’ page.

Thank you to all the visitors. The Blog has been getting tremendous response, and the daily visitors have doubled from last year.

The Blog now has 2363 Posts and 1.6 Lakh unique hits so far. The blog has been witnessing on an average 700 unique hits daily.

23 Dec 2007: Status Update

I thank all the blog visitors. Now the blog ‘Pradeep’s Journal’ is witnessing around 500 unique hits per day. That is an awesome progress and milestone for this blog.
This blog now has 1811 posts, which is really abundant information for all Hyderabad and Vizag fans. This blog has now crossed the 50,000 total unique hits milestone (not counting the 44,568 hits when the blog was hosted on blogspot) . I feel very glad about it. Thanks to all of you again.

Please feel free to send me your valuable suggestions and feedback, and I will try to make the blog moreuseful.

From the left sidebar, removed “Most Viewed Posts” section. Created a separate page ‘Hot Posts’ to display ‘Top 40 Posts’ and ‘Top 5 Pages’ based on views. Hope you all like this change.

To the left sidebar, added “Most Viewed Posts” section to display the 6 most viewed posts.

 

22 Oct 2007:

To the left sidebar, added the feed from NRIDollars forums to display the latest activity. Unforunately, I am only able to get the latest threads displayed. My intention is to display the 20 latest posts from the forums. I am still researching to find out the way to do it.

 

08 Oct 2007:

Removed Google Ads section from the right sidebar, after noticing that some obscene ads were being displayed by Google randomly..

 

05 Oct 2007:
Opened the blog for public contributions. Added a post with detailed instructions on how to contribute to this blog. All user contributions will be reviewed/verified and they will only be published if they meet the requirements of this blog.

 

04 Oct 2007:
1. Added the ‘Register/Login’ option to the right sidebar
2. Re-organized the right sidebar components, and removed the ‘Notice Board’ section from there and moved it here to the ‘Announcements Page’ with heading as ‘Quick Links’.

 

23 Sep 2007:
New Milestone

Today the blog has reached an important milestone, it reached a ‘post count’ of 1000.

I started this blog with an intention to make it a good source of information for all updates and developments related to Hyderabad, and recently started covering the developments in Vizag as well.

Since the launch of this blog, there has been a steady increase in the number of visitors. The blog now has 62,596 hits (which includes 44,568 hits at old blog location http://hydproperties.blogspot.com) since it’s debut in June 2006, and is now attracting around 300 unique visitors per day. The blog has 32 RSS subscribers served by FeedBlitz. The blog’s popularity has much increased among the folks who are interested to follow the latest developments in the cities Hyderabad and Vizag, as well as the technical and innovative news items.

All I can say is thank you to all the readers of ‘Pradeep’s Journal’. As always, keep your suggestions and feedback coming.

On the top of the left sidebar, now one can view how many users (registered members, guest visitors, search engine bots) are currently viewing ‘Pradeep’s Journal’.

To see more details, click on the page titled ‘Visitor Stats’ and this page will provide more details on the visitor statistics.
