Microsoft Is Truly A City Giant

The Hyderabad centre of software giant Microsoft has become the second largest product development centre of the company outside Redmond, its headquarters.
Led by the vice president and managing director, Mr Srini Koppolu, the Microsoft India Development Centre has grown in leaps and bounds over the last 10 years.
It started off in a humble manner with 20 persons and has now grown to a centre which employs around 1,500 people. The centre has 220 patents to its credit.
The Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekar Reddy inaugurated the new MSIDC building on the Hyderabad campus.
The new building, which has the capacity to house more than 2,000 employees, is constructed to meet global quality standards and has won the Leeds Gold certification for energy efficiency and hi-tech safety systems.
