The GOs issued by the different departments located in Secretariat will now be automatically uploaded on the internet and made available to the general public.

Along with this the government gazette publications will also be available from July 1.

This was announced in a press conference by the Suresh Chanda, secretary, IT&C department on Monday. The departments which are issuing a GO should first send it to the IT&C department. The GO number will be generated by the computer and the GO will be available on the internet as and when it is released.

The web site to see a GO is www.ap.gov.in/goir. On an average about 160 GOs are issued everyday, said the secretary. All the GOs issued from February 2008 will be made available on the site. The department has provided a email: goir@ap.gov.in to get feedback on this online system.

On similar lines the department will place the gazette publications from July 1. The gazette publications are published at different places including Hyderabad. The department will make available the gazette publications published in Hyderabad.

The department has developed an other site www.ap.gov.in/c2g, in which the general public can register their complaints, which will be sent to the respective departments. However he added that this will not be grievance cell, this will only take the complaints and send it to the departments.

For people who can’t use the internet a toll free number 1100 is made available.
