Hyderabad-based Lahari Resorts, part of the real estate company, Lahari Group, an entertainment and sports-based property is planning to add another attraction to the existing 80 games.
Swapana Cherukuri, managing director of the Lahari Resorts informed that the resort has introduced paintball games, which is spread over three acres of land. They are also planning to introduce go karting, which will be spread over an area of five acres.
As part of expansion plans, Cherukuri further elaborated, “We are also planning to develop a similar entertainment resort in Hyderabad itself, in another four - five years.”
The decision to choose Hyderabad as the proposed location is due to the fact that Hyderabad and regions around the city still lack a good destination where a group can come and enjoy themselves. “We intend to make this new resort bigger and better than the present resort,” Cherukuri added. Situated in Bhanoor village, the present Lahari Resorts was created with an investment of Rs 15-20 crore excluding real estate. In addition, for new upcoming additions and projects they plan to raise another Rs 15-20 crore, through internal accruals and loans.
The resort also provides 59 rooms, including five presidential suites and two royal suites. As part of its entertainment solutions, Lahari Resorts has a wide range of indoor games including a bowling alley, snooker table, pool table and inflated rock climbing while there are a variety of water sports as well.
As part of outdoor activities there are variety of water activities as well as areas for sports like cricket and golf. With a hall which has a 200 pax capacity and boardrooms that can cover 30 to 200 pax, Lahari also has MICE inflow of guests. Cherukuri says, “Our USP is that everything is within the customers reach, making it comfortable for them.”
