Comfort zone: Construction site of Lanco Hills at Manikonda in Hyderabad
Lanco Hills mega mall will offer a plethora of goodies, be it shopping, gaming or movie-going, writes T. Lalith Singh.
Seeking to redefine shopping and entertainment, a mall, one of the largest in the country, is to come up at Lanco Hills. Huge spaces dotted with hitherto unheard of shopping experience, the mall is to offer miles of departmental shopping facilities and the Hyper-market constitutes several acres of convenience shopping. It will offer several hundreds of international and national brands along the corridor.
According to a statement issued here by Lanco, the facility will have ‘knowledge zone’ to provide bookstores, space to browse through home décor items, furniture, artefacts and what not. Food and beverage outlets, theme restaurants, coffee shops and food courts are the other appealing features.
Multiplex
To take care of entertainment, the place will have a 16-screen multiplex, speciality theatres offering world-class cinematic experience with a personal touch and a premium theatre for events/promotions/previews. Another interesting aspect of the mall will be one of the country’s biggest gaming zone complete with go-carting for several acres, ice skating rink, bowling alley and other redemption games, the statement informs.
The project is to be equipped with 25 lifts, ten escalators, and one travelator to ensure maximum comfort for floor-to-floor access.
The complex is planned for 7,000-plus car parking space apart from separate truck circulation and loading bays.
Landscaping at Lanco Hills renders a cosy, street feel, between the facades of exclusive shops and the premium mall.
The streets are ornamented with various textures and colours in terms of finishes, sculptures, fountains, lighting and landscaping.
The sky openings will be treated with various tensile tent formations to ensure patterns of light/shadow during the day time and the same would be lit with various lighting and water effects for an exclusive ambience.
