Phoenix Port - Status Update & Picture Gallery

Loading ...I have visited SuchirIndia’s Phoenix Port venture recently, and I was thrilled to see the way it shaped up. Work in Phases I & II is complete, and the laying of roads, footpath pavements, underground drainage works is going on and nearing completion in Phase-III.
When we enter the venture, an active security guard is standing at the entrance, and we have to sign the guest book to enter inside the venture. This is a surprise thing for me - as I have come across many ventures during the road trip. I could see no activity in the ventures, no persons to answer our questions. I got a feeling that the ventures are left discarded as the developers sold them out and not even worried now about making the necessary developments as per their promise. A big contrast to what I noticed in Phoenix Port venture.
As many of you may know, when SuchirIndia sold this venture - it was not meant to be a gated community. But later SuchirIndia has decided to build a compound wall surrounding the entire Phoenix Port venture with Security Guards at the entrance, making it a gated plotting venture. Suchir stood upto it’s reputation and words, and delivered more than promised in developing this venture. Compound wall construction is in progress now. I could see a little stretch of the compound wall completed near the Phase-III. Central Park is developed very well.
A big bonus to all the buyers in this community is the development of “Papyrus Port” - a membership-based resort for the public. It is nearing completion, and I was told that they would finish this work in around 3 months of time. It comes with a Club House with A/C rooms, Swimming Pool, Artificial Fish Pond, Restaurant, Cottages, Evening hang-out place for functions etc.
The big advantage of Phoenix Port venture is - it is right beside the National Highway 7 (Bangalore Highway), and adjacent to the Kothur town already buzzing with activity. The construction of the bypass road to Shadnagar which starts from the Phoenix Port venture is making good progress. This venture will be a natural extension of Kothur Town, and we may soon see good activity in this venture once the Papyrus Port is complete. I won’t be surprised to see construction of few houses in 1-2 years.
A few acres (20-25 acres) are reserved at the beginning of the Phoenix Port venture. Heard that SuchirIndia has plans to develop Commercial Complex with multiplex, and Independent Villas on this piece of land. We will know the exact details once they come up with the complete plan. Hope something BIG comes up.
