Unitech bags Budvel project

The Unitech company bagged the 165-acre Budvel township project when the HUDA opened the three financial bids it received for the project here on Tuesday. Unitech emerged the highest bidder by quoting Rs.2.5 lakhs more than the upset price of Rs.4 crore per acre.
DLF and Ansal Properties were others which had submitted the financial bids. The successful bidder would have to pay 25 per cent of the amount by next Monday and the rest by March 31.
