Three bidders for Budvel project
Saturday, January 19th, 2008The Hyderabad Urben Development Authority (HUDA) received three bids for its 165- acre Budvel township project here on Friday, the last date for submitting bids. DLF, Unitech and Ansal Properties submitted their bids against the fixed upset price of Rs.4 crore per acre.

Andhra to offer 8 airports for hub and spoke projects
Saturday, January 19th, 2008The Andhra Pradesh government will invite expressions of interest for eight minor airports to come up in the hinterlands under a public-private sector initiative.
The airports will be set up in Nellore, Kothagudem, Tadepallegudam, Bobbili, Ramagundam, Kurnool, Nizamabad and Ongole. Each airport project is expected to cost Rs 50 crore.
Hyderabad to get Digital Entertainment City
Saturday, January 19th, 2008In a public-private partnership initiative, a consortium of animation and gaming firms and production houses — FX Labs, Suresh Productions, DQ Entertainment, Gemini TV — and the Andhra Pradesh Government have come together to establish the country’s first Digital Entertainment City in Hyderabad, along with an Entertainment Academy to be launched in June.
