BRTS on course

Clearing doubts over the delay in introducing the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) in Hyderabad, ASPRTC Managing Director V. Dinesh Reddy on Saturday said BRTS was very much in the pipeline and a pilot project would commence by March.
“We are keeping track of BRTS with JNNURM authorities, who have identified Hyderabad as one of the locations in the country for taking up a pilot project,” he said.
Corporation has generated Rs.127 crore revenue till October last and is hopeful of mobilising Rs. 250 crore during this financial year. There are plans to purchase over 3,000 buses and hire over 1,500,
