NIMS trauma centre ready for takeoff
Thursday, January 10th, 2008The proposed trauma centre and speciality hospital at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Science (NIMS), hit by hurdles right from day one, is finally ready to take off. Tenders to implement this project, which can catapult NIMS to the big league on a par with All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), have been finalised.

HUDA to accept CDS regularisation forms

Machines to sweep City’s main roads
Thursday, January 10th, 2008The Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) will induct four modern street-sweeping machines in the city on Wednesday.
Municipal sweepers, who have been sweeping the roads on the main roads in the night, will stop cleaning the mains road. They would be asked to sweep the interior lanes and bylanes where the sweeping machines cannot enter.
Efforts on to find land for IISAER
Thursday, January 10th, 2008The State Government is scouting for land for location of the Indian Institute of Science and Educational Research (IISAER) in Hyderabad.
Following Centre’s announcement that another IISAER would be set up in Hyderabad after Pune, Kolkata and Bangalore, the State Government is now busy identifying land.
