Stone laid for mega mall

 The Chief Minister, Dr. Y.S Rajasekhara Reddy, on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for a mega shopping complex and mall opposite the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority office. Vaibhav Skyscapes Private Ltd, of the Vaibhav group, will build the 1,60,000 sq. ft V-shaped mall on BOT basis with VUDA at a cost of Rs 20.05 crore.
Mr Manoj Kumar Grandhi, Chairman of Vaibhav group of companies, said the mall would house food courts, retail stores, convention centres and IT companies. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the land pooling system, introduced by VUDA, and laid the foundation stone for the international school to be built by the Chaitanya group of educational institutions at a cost of Rs 22 crore at Madhurawada on a 5-acre plot allotted by VUDA. - Our Bureau
