SA Habitat launches Rs 600cr villa project in Hyderabad

SA Habitat, a joint venture between Hyderabad-based realty players Splendid Group and the Aparna group of companies, has announced Palm Meadows, a self-contained gated community villa project, on the city outskirts.
Spread over 95 acres, the Rs 600-crore project, which the company claims to be the largest premium villa venture in Hyderabad, has 330 villas with plot sizes ranging from 533 sq yards to 840 sq yards.
“Each villa will cost between Rs 1.8 crore and Rs 2.4 crore and around 100 villas have already been sold. We expect the project to be fully completed by early 2009,” P Kiran Raju, managing director of SA Habitat, told mediapersons here on Saturday.
Around 80,000 square feet has been earmarked for shopping area and the company is currently working out modalities with retail majors including Reliance Fresh and Trinetra to set up supermarkets, retail stores and a 24×7 pharmacy, he added.
Besides outdoor and indoor leisure activities including a lakeside amphitheatre, mini golf court, swimming pool and poolside restaurants, Palm Meadows will offer an hydroneumatic system that eliminates overhead water tanks, and a common communications centre that provides DishTV and VoIP telephone services through an optic fibre network.
