City-based real estate and construction company Aliens Developers Pvt Ltd in collaboration with the UK-based architects SMC Alsop is coming up with three multi-crore ventures in the city, one at Tellapur and two on Srisailam Road. Named Space Station I, II and The Hub, the projects will be designed essentially to address the residential needs.
Announcing the details of the projects at a media briefing on Saturday, Managing Director of Aliens Hari Challa revealed that Space Station I, to come up at Tellapur, would have a built up space of 4 million square feet. Twenty acres of land had already been acquired for the project and work would commence by the end of December, he said.
Space Station II, located 10 km from airport, will have a built-up space of 6 million square feet to be extended up to 17 million square feet in future. Work for the project will begin in May next year.
The Hub, also on Srisailam Road, is still in the stage of conceptualisation and is expected to begin at the end of 2008. Details will be finalised once the feasibility study is done. It is expected to be a jumbo project spanning over 1400 acres. Already 700 acres have been acquired for the purpose, Mr.Challa said. SMC Alsop will be the architect for all the three projects.
