Lok Ayukta Justice Anand Reddy in an order on Monday directed Medak Collector B.Venkatesam to file a report within four weeks, on the action taken on officers involved in the illegal alienation of lands in survey number 343 of Aminpur in Patancheru mandal. Lok Ayukta further directed the district registrar not to alienate or register the same land to anyone else till further orders. The Lok Ayukta gave these orders after observing that the alienation of lands in the survey number 343 to seven freedom fighters on December 31 of 2005, was illegal. The TRS youth wing leader M. Raghunandan Rao filed a case in February 2006 alleging that the freedom fighters did not belong to the district and they were used only to transfer the same to realtors. Respondents in this case are the Collector, Joint Collector, RDO, Patancheru MRO and Sangareddy MLA.
