Sewerage system in Old City to be modernised

People staying in the overcrowded Old City can heave a sigh of relief with the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) soon taking up a project to strengthen the underground sewerage system in South of Musi (Zone-1) covering 60,000 houses.

Realty stocks bear the maximum brunt

The bearish mode of the benchmark Sensex has resulted in a sharp decline of the BSE Realty Index, which fell by 3.08 per cent (310.93 points) on Monday. The 14-stock realty index was also the worst performer among the 19 equity indices of the BSE.

State threatens to take back land

The State government said that land given to entrepreneurs in Special Economic Zones will be taken back if industries are not set up within three years.
