Crocodile Opens First Exclusive Retail Store In Hyderabad

S. P. Apparels Ltd inaugurated its company-owned first exclusive Crocodile retail store at Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad. The Crocodile Store, encompassing a super built up area of 1800 sq. ft., is located at a prime location. It showcases a wide range of summer collections targeted at the ‘young-at-heart’ consumers.

The Crocodile product mix consists of formals, casuals/smart casuals inclusive of T-shirts, shirts, trousers, jeans, etc., catering to different target groups and in different price ranges.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. P. Sundararajan, Managing Director of Crocodile Products Pvt Ltd, said, “We are delighted to unveil our first Company-owned exclusive Crocodile store at the prime location in Hyderabad. This shows our commitment to take the Crocodile brand to the city which has a large number of young populace.”

“This new concept of an international store format coupled with the Grey brand identity will apprise the Indian youth of emerging fashion trends. We are quite optimistic that the Crocodile store in Hyderabad will soon be an attractive fashion retail destination for existing and new customers”.

“Last six months there has been a great amount of transformation which has taken place in terms of designs, product innovation, new brand identity as well as new store concept. Our top line grew by 30% within this six months period. We are confident of the initiatives taken in further strengthening the brand to reach it’s a wide amountof existing and new customers”.

“This summer collection we are show casing a wide amount of fashion collection which was missing in Crocodile’s wardrobe. The recently launched trouser collection has had immense response and we will take it forward to ensure that Crocodile will be a one stop brand for entire men’s wardrobe”.

“Yesterday, the Company opened its fifth Crocodile store in Bangalore”, Mr Sundararajan said.

Recently, the Company acquired one of India’s well known women’s western wear brand “Natalia”, which was owned by the Chennai-based garment export company, SM Apparels. This acquisition will help S. P. Apparels Ltd. to aggressively tap the immense potential in the women’s wear market in India.

The Company plans to roll out about 7 Company-owned Crocodile Stores across India before by July -end 2007 in places such as Delhi, Coimbatore Hyderabad, and Calcutta. The total number is expected to increase to 12 stores in the current fiscal year.

Mr. Sanjay Chandrashekhar, Vice President, Crocodile added, “This new exclusive retail store and other upcoming new stores will enable us to showcase the complete spectrum of Crocodile products to our loyal customers.”
